This blonde Rawlings Professional Model BigStick Bat bears a perfect signature from Tampa Bay Rays rookie third baseman, Evan Longoria. Longoria used a blue sharpie to hand sign the barrel of this bat during our private signing with him on July 19th, 2008 in St. Petersburg, Florida. This bat has Longoria's name, and "2008 Rookie All-Star" engraved on the barrel. This bat is a limited edition of only 25 in the world, and you will receive a random number out of 25. Longoria made his MLB debut on April 12th, 2008, and then two days later hit his first career home run. On July 10, 2008 Longoria won the 2008 AL Final Fan vote over sending him to New York for his first All Star game. Then on July 19, 2008 Longoria hit his first career grand slam off of Toronto's Roy Halladay in the fifth inning as part of a 6-4 winning effort. This bat is in flawless condition and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Icon Sports Marketing. Both, the bat and certficate, each have a matching serial numbered hologram affixed to each. This bat also has Longoria's personal hologram affixed to the barrel.
